The New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) wishes to employ a suitably experienced contractor to construct Deployable Bulk Fuel Installation (DBFI) Facility at RNZAF Base Ohakea. These buildings will accommodate maintenance and support activities for the deployed refuelling of RNZAF aircraft.
The building will have a gross floor area of approximately 300m2 comprising an industrial storage facility with office accommodation, locker rooms and ablutions.
The facility will include an approximately 500m2 concrete hardstand area for washing and drying equipment. The building will include installation of all building services for the building operation, including power, data comms, potable water supply, waste water and trade waste disposal.
The NZDF tender process will follow the following steps:
  - All contractors responding to this Registration of Interest will receive and be invited to respond to a Pre-qualification Request (PQR).
  - Contractors responses to the PQR will be used to shortlist a limited number of suitable (Pre-qualified) Contractors that best meet NZDF's criteria for these works.
  - Pre-qualified respondents will be issued with and invited to respond to a Request for Tender (RFT).
  - NZDF will select a contractor based on tenders received as detailed in the RFT process.
