Tender: Supply Airfield Lighting Equipment, Auckland, closes 20/08/2010 1:00 p.m. NSW

The New Zealand Defence Force invites suitable suppliers to register their interest for the supply only of Airfield Lighting Equipment relating to the Whenuapai Airfield Upgrade Works. The supply items include:
· CCR's;
· Inset light bases;
· Approach light masts;
· High and low intensity end;
· Edge and threshold lights elevated and inset;
· High intensity runway approach lights and low intensity runway lights elevated and inset;
· PAPI;
· Taxiway centreline lights;
· Distance to go markers;
· Illuminated wind indicators;
· Movement area guidance signage;
· Series isolation transformers; and
· Airfield lighting cable and connectors.
The NZDF tender process will follow the following steps:
- 1. All contractors responding to this Registration of Interest will receive and be invited to respond to a Pre-qualification Request (PQR).
- 2. Contractors responses to the PQR will be used to shortlist a limited number of suitable (Pre-qualified) Contractors that best meet NZDF's criteria for these works.
- 3. Pre-qualified respondents will be issued with and invited to respond to a Request for Tender (RFT).
- 4. NZDF will select a contractor based on tenders received as detailed in the RFT process.
