 The Transport Registry Centre [TRC] is a major business unit of the NZTA as a whole and the Access and Use business group. Its primary role is to maintain the motor vehicle [MVR] and driver licence [DLR] registers, manage road tolling [TLR] and account for crown revenues collected through associated transactions, such as road user charges [RUC].
 To assist it in its role, the TRC sends out over 9 million pieces of mail to over 2.5 million New Zealanders every year via its bulk mail service provider. This includes notices, reminders, certificates, invoices, cheques, labels and letters.
