 - The objectives of the Gulf of Carpentaria Storm Tide and Inundation Study Project is:
 - To use state-of-the-art numerical modelling techniques to generate statistics for total storm tide levels and extreme waves due to tropical cyclones and to use this information to calculate inundation levels and extents due to tropical cyclone induced storm tides. The study area of this project comprises the Queensland and Northern Territory coastline within the Gulf of Carpentaria.
