Gazettes NSW, Glen Irie bushfire declared an agricultural natural disaster; loans, subsidies available

The bushfire affected more than 3,800 hectares with reports of almost 3,000 hectares of pastures lost, 80 kilometres of fencing destroyed and 11 head of livestock lost.
 - Agricultural Natural Disaster Relief Arrangements provide loans of up to $130,000 at 2.56% per annum with a two year interest and repayment free period, Mr Whan said. The loans provide for replacement or repairs to property and infrastructure not covered by insurance, including damage to crops and pasture. Transport subsidies of 50% for fodder, stock water and agistment up to $15,000 are also available, if more than 30% of the property is affected.
