Triple-cross spy kills 4 CIA robot-missile room spooks at Forward Operating Base Chapman in the south-eastern province of Khost, Afghanistan

He was taken onto the base in Afghanistan as he had offered information on jihad activities, a Western official who was briefed on the matter, said. 
 Orginally recruited as Jordanian spy: The bomber was recruited by the Jordanian intelligence service and taken to Afghanistan weeks earlier, to infiltrate jihad networks by posing  as a foreign jihadi, the official said. 
 Total trust: The  supposed informant snapped  explosives to his body and blew  himself up at a meeting with the CIA last Wednesday at the CIA's Forward Operating Base Chapman in the south-eastern province of Khost.
 CIA spooks travelled from  Kabul to Khostto meet spy:  The CIA had come to trust him and were eager to learn what he  might have gleaned from opera tions in the field, a former CIA  official with experience in Afghanistan said.  The former official said the fact that militants could carry out a successful attack using a double  agent showed , strength, despite a steady barrage of missile  strikes from CIA drones.  The flying robots use Australian technology.  The Jordanian handler,  had said the Jordanians had  such a good reputation with US  intelligence that the  informant had not been screened  before entering the compound.
